Trading Equilibrium is for doers, not followers.

Trading Equilibrium is a service for swing and position traders. No day trading ideas or "buy-and-hold" strategies will be covered. Swing traders aim to compound their accounts by entering multi-day / multi-week trades at favorable risk / reward ratios. Position traders look to do the same with multi-week / multi-month trades. The goal for both is to keep losses small while letting winners run to 3*Risk or more. 

Premium members will receive trade ideas within daily Market Overview videos. However, execution is up to you: "make each trade your own". Each trader has their own risk tolerance and goals. No real-time alerts are sent and you are expected to manage your own money according to your unique plan and tolerances. "Make each trade your own" is the phrase, and practice, that empowers traders to gain independence. Questions regarding tactics, charts, trends, etc are encouraged, but exact executions are up to each individual trader. 

As a Trading Equilibrium member you will receive between two and three Trade Ideas prior to each day the market is open if the current market environment warrants. Often, however, due to choppy or trend-less conditions, the recommended move is to preserve capital. During those times there may be no trade ideas posted at all. The goal is to teach the trader patience, and the ability to wait for the best setups. Overtrading is quicksand for traders.

Trade Ideas will include both equity and option scenarios when applicable. If option spreads are too wide, or volume too low in a specific name, only the equity trade will be suggested. The percentage of equity trades vs. option trades offered on the Premium Twitter feed varies as market dynamics change. The suggested stop on all option trades is $0, meaning the risk is the full premium paid. Options are used as a means of defining risk and leveraging capital. If you are an options day trader, this service is not for you.

Trading Equilibrium is intended for traders with any size account. Proper position sizing and risk management transcends account size and is heavily emphasized in this service. Expectations must be realistic, regardless of account size. 

Trading Equilibrium can benefit traders of all levels. A certain rudimentary knowledge of trading is necessary, however there are no "stupid" questions. 

Beginning traders will benefit from a clearer understanding of market dynamics, position sizing, and risk management. 

More experienced traders may enjoy the time-saving delivery of market / sector / industry overview and fresh trading ideas.

Absolutely! One of the beauties of swing / position trading is that there is no need to stare at your screen from 9:30 am until 4:00 pm every trading day. You can employ buy and sell stops, even partial stops, to automate your execution. The "homework" and preparation routine is accomplished outside of market (business) hours. Developing a process / routine is an absolutely essential part of becoming an independent trader, and that is accomplished at night and on the weekends.  

Questions are encouraged! A Community Forum is included in your membership in which you can ask short or long form questions. This is an opportunity to discuss in-depth topics with Matt and your fellow traders.

Questions will be answered within 24 hours or faster in most cases. This is not meant to be a "live-chat" forum and no real-time trade executions (alerts) will be given on this forum.
